◎简 介
小有名气的电视人马丁（皮尔斯·布鲁斯南 Pierce Brosnan 饰）因为不小心和未成年少女发生了关系而将面临身败名裂的下场。莫莲（托妮·科莱特 Toni Collette 饰）的儿子身患残疾生活无法自理，于是，每一日，莫莲都要在照顾儿子的琐碎中度过，一步都无法离开。杰斯（伊莫珍·波茨 Imogen Poots 饰）的姐姐于多年前神秘失踪，这场意外一直如同乌云般笼罩在少女的头上。JJ（亚伦·保尔 Aaron Paul 饰）在事业和感情上都遭受了巨大打击，生活几乎无法再继续。 觉得生命了无生趣的四人决定自杀，就这样，机缘巧合让他们在著名的自杀圣地“礼帽大厦”顶楼相遇了。个性迥异但境遇相似的四人聊得很投机，彼此之间很快就产生了真挚的友谊，亦都暂时放弃了寻死的念头。就这样，一个奇怪的四人小团体就这样形成了。
