　　马特．狄龙初登银幕的处女作，一部反映七十年代未期美国青少年人生迷茫的社会问题片。故事背景是加州小镇的中下层社区，年轻人生活空虚，缺乏正当娱乐，于是转向摇滚乐、迷幻药和性发泄寻求满足。当地警察意图扫荡孩子们的毒品交易，卡尔深受困扰。于是跑去找小无赖里奇帮忙，因为他有枪，不料事情发展越弄越糟，暴力事件一发不可收拾。导演乔纳森．卡普兰以敏锐面灵活的手法表现年轻人的叛逆感觉，效果不落俗套，以大量摇滚乐歌曲为基础的电影配乐更令人有活力充沛之感。
