◎简 介
故事发生在近未来，靠打工为生的弗琳·费舍（科洛·莫瑞兹 Chloë Grace Moretz 饰）和特种部队退役的哥哥都是全息游戏的狂热爱好者。所不同的是，弗琳游戏水平更高一筹，经常代替老哥登录他的账号去打通难啃的关卡。这一天，某游戏公司寄来最新款全息游戏头部设备，声称只要按照指示完成任务就能获得丰厚报酬。由于母亲患病在床，家中生活捉襟见肘，于是弗琳答应进入游戏进行测试。出乎她意料的是，这款游戏的体验感非常强，无论视觉听觉还是触觉，都有如身临其境一般。可是游戏带来的恐怖诡异感受，也让弗琳拒绝继续进入游戏。 就在此时，暗网发起了对弗琳的追杀令，虚拟世界和现实世界的界线瞬间变得模糊起来……
