◎简 介
二十世纪三十年代，游学欧洲多年的上海名媛苏雯丽，从巴黎回到上海，第二天便受邀去马敏兰家午宴，而马敏兰的丈夫胡云朗当天早上在家中浴室跌倒而亡。警局罗秋恒探长判断，胡云朗死于砒霜中毒，因此带走女仆小桃子调查。虽然洗脱嫌疑，但小桃子还是被胡家解雇，苏雯丽见她聪明伶俐，收留了小桃子，小桃子成为她的女仆、闺蜜和侦探助手。苏雯丽在案情分析时表现出的机敏和见识，令罗探长深为叹服，于是，两人结成黄金搭档，联手破解了一系列离奇案件。
