这是皮克斯的动画短片，片里有个可爱的小雪人。漂亮的装饰瓶是小雪人的家，当然是那种飘着雪花的装饰瓶。
小雪人情不自禁的爱上了同样是玩具的热带美人鱼，可是他心爱的人可不是生活在瓶子里，她在外面更为广阔的世界。为了小人鱼，为了爱，小雪人展开了一系列出逃计划。起子，电挫，甚至炸弹纷纷上阵，可是除了把家弄的大雪纷飞，小雪人毫无进展。
在一次爆炸中，装饰瓶被震落跌倒。下坠的过程中，小雪人终于看到了瓶子的“安全出口”，他兴奋的打开了门。这一次他终于离人鱼很近了，可是他到底在哪里呢？为什么幸福总是看得见，摸不着。
本片是三维制作，片中的角色都是立体几何图形拼接而成，人物线条简单。全塑料的人物纹理看上去非常舒服。人物动作夸张但是动作感觉到位。
本片虽然于1989年制作完成，但是在2003年《海底总动员》时，本片才作为加映短片上映。当然随着技术的前进，这个短片进行了重新的制作和渲染之后才进行公映。
这里所有的装饰都写有地名，如火烈鸟写着FLORIDA（美国佛罗里达州），骷髅写着DEATH VALLEY(美国死谷)，金字塔上写着EGYPT（埃及），仙人掌上写着墨西哥（玛雅文），两棵棕榈树上分别写着美国棕榈谷和牙买加，美女的泳池上写着迈阿密（美国城市），小雪人的装饰瓶里写着ALASKA(阿拉斯加州)，而浴缸美女的石头上写着亚特兰蒂斯。
