◎简　　介

　　本片根据美国小说家克里斯托弗·伊舍伍德（Christopher Isherwood）1964年的同名小说改编。故事发生于1962年11月30日的美国加州洛杉矶。中年英语教授乔治·费尔科纳（科林·费斯 Colin Firth 饰）沉浸在与自己十六年共同生活的同性伴侣吉姆（马修·古迪 Matthew Goode 饰）车祸死亡的阴影中无法自拔，精心准备打算自杀。电影记录了乔治从早到晚一天的活动，包括他在学习授课，处理与学生肯尼（尼古拉斯·霍尔特 Nicholas Hoult 饰）的关系，并参加伦敦旧情人夏洛特（朱丽安·摩尔 Julian Moore 饰）私人晚餐的过程。
