David Modigliani的幕后纪录片《与贝托同行》，讲述民主党国会议员Beto O'Rourke从默默无名到轰动全国的政治崛起的身份转变。这部纪录片展现了他的家庭和政治团队与贝托的亲密互动。 历史上德克萨斯州一向是共和党的领地，民主党人贝托在德州的竞选之旅无疑是独一无二的全民焦点。他将前往德州254个县，利用社交媒体、以非传统的方式将他的竞选信息传达给群众，并拒绝接受PAC（political action committee，政治行动委员会：美国政治组织，旨在筹募及分配竞选经费给角逐公职的候选人）的资金支持。结果却成为美国参议院历史上竞选资金最充足的一次基层竞选运动。 《与贝托同行》以前所未有的拍摄方式让我们了解到了O'Rourke的人格魅力以及多元化竞选团队的幕后故事。
